No matter the type of trip you’re going on, there are a few tips I always recommend. These tips have come from learning from many of my own travel mistakes! All that to say, take the wisdom that works for you and leave what doesn’t.
- Use packing cubes and roll your clothes to save space in your suitcase.
- Designate one bag for essentials needed during travel (snacks, wipes, toys, travel documents, chargers). Always keep this bag with you as a carry-on if you’re traveling on a plane.
- When possible, pack lightly. I always recommend laying your clothes out ahead of time and removing the items that can only be worn in one or two specific ways. Plan on rewearing clothes to keep your packing even lighter!
