Is it safe for my HE or front-loading washer?+
Yes — it's formulated for every type of washer, including high-efficiency (HE), front-load, and top-load machines.
Where do I put the tablet?+
Straight into the empty drum, not the detergent drawer. Then run the hottest cycle your machine has, or its Clean Washer, Tub Clean or Self Clean cycle if it has one.
Will it get rid of the musty smell?+
Yes. That smell comes from detergent residue, hard-water scale and damp grime building up in the drum, gasket, dispenser and hoses, and the tablet lifts that buildup so it rinses away. If your machine smells strong, run a second clean a few days later, then keep to twice a month. Leaving the door open between washes helps the gasket dry out too.
Doesn't my washing machine clean itself?+
It rinses, but it doesn't clean itself. Every load leaves a little detergent, minerals and moisture in the gasket folds, the dispenser and the hoses, where the water doesn't scrub, and that's where the smell starts. A tablet twice a month clears it out before you notice it on your clothes.
Is a washing machine cleaner worth it?+
